Athabasca University
In recognition of the cooperation between Athabasca University and Academy of Learning and their continuing commitment to post-secondary education in Canada, there is an agreement to provide degree completion opportunities for graduates and to cooperate in the provision of services to fulfill this commitment. Athabasca University, Canada’s Open University, is dedicated to the removal of barriers that restrict access to, and success in, university-level studies, and to increasing equality of educational opportunity for adult learners world-wide.
Meritus University
Meritus University was founded on more than 30 years of academic excellence, opportunity, and accessibility and is among a small number of fully online universities operating in Canada. Based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Meritus University offers business and information technology undergraduate degree programs and a Master’s in business administration degree program. Meritus University provides a global, mobile, innovative, and highly competitive educational format, giving students flexible options that fit today’s global workplace and suit today’s diverse lifestyle.
University of Phoenix
Academy of Learning students can transfer their courses towards University of Phoenix undergraduate degree programs. Founded in 1976, University of Phoenix is North America’s largest private, accredited university. With over 140 campuses and learning centres in the U.S. and now in Canada, University of Phoenix offers programs exclusively designed to meet the needs of working adults.
University of Windsor
In November 1996, Academy of Learning entered into an innovative collaboration with the University of Windsor. Graduates of select Academy of Learning diploma programs will receive advanced credit if they wish to continue their education at the University of Windsor. This partnership is just one more way Academy of Learning strives to make life-long learning rewarding and viable for people of all ages and levels of expertise.

The Pacific Institute
Founded in 1971 by Lou Tice and Diane Tice, the Pacific Institute is an international corporation specializing in performance improvement and professional growth, change management and leadership development. The guiding principle of the Pacific Institute is that individuals, during their lifetime, have a virtually unlimited capacity for growth, change and creativity, and can readily adapt to the tremendous changes taking place in this technological age.
The Pacific Institute curricula teaches how to accelerate individual and organizational potential by changing habits, attitudes, beliefs and expectations that often inhibit high performance people. This, in turn, allows organizations to achieve higher levels of growth and success.
Canadian Payroll Association
The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA), founded in 1978, is the national association representing the payroll community in Canada. The CPA is considered by the Canadian payroll community as the authoritative source of payroll knowledge.
Academy of Learning has established a relationship with the CPA in order to incorporate the payroll specific courses into the diploma and certificate programs. Payroll specific courses offered at Academy of Learning include Payroll Fundamentals 1, Payroll Fundamentals 2, and Payroll Compliance Legislation. Students who complete either the Payroll Administrator or Payroll Supervisor program with Academy of Learning are prepared to apply to the CPA for the Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification.
Carson Dunlop
Established in 1978, Carson Dunlop is one of the largest independent home inspection firms in North America. Academy of Learning has partnered with Carson Dunlop to deliver the home inspection program across Canada. Carson Dunlop is regarded as the industry standard in home inspection courseware as well as providing inspection-related products and services.
VITAL ENGLISH
Vital English designs and distributes English Language teaching and learning solutions globally. They now have one of the largest product ranges of any online English Language Training provider in the market. Over the last five years, Vital English has developed a wide range of ESL courses, from low beginner to advanced.
With Academy of Learning, students can choose from three English programs to study: English Success! General; English Success! ESP; English Success! IELTS. * Vital English is not offered at all campuses
